Listening, Acting, Transforming
I am a positive and humanistic psychology practitioner. My approach is person-centered and I work to offer a warm, encouraging space for digging deep and unearthing old patterns. Together we affirm your resilience and map opportunities for productive change. Central to our work is understanding one's life meaning and purpose. I have over 16 years of counseling psychology and leadership consulting experience working with individuals, couples, and groups across a diversity of cultural and personal backgrounds.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual (or couple) to support change towards greater personal and professional functioning. I have worked with people from around the world representing varying beliefs, cultures, traditions, and values. Positive psychology is the foundation of my practice with an emphasis on courage, hope, and optimism.
My PhD is from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; postdoctoral training at McLean Hospital (Harvard Teaching Hospital); and my clinical training at the Tavistock Institute in London. I hold master's degrees in Education (Human Development) and Government (Adaptive Leadership) from Harvard University. I co-authored the text "Exploring Positive Psychology."
